teachers celebrating a rating for campus

This past Friday, we celebrated with maracas, music, and confetti in the hallways to acknowledge the State of Texas's verification of our campus accountability score. The accountability score is based on STAAR and TELPAS state exams from the prior year. Our campus received an 'A' rating, which is the highest a campus can receive!

This is cause for celebration. We celebrate our students' and staff members' hard work and dedication. This score matters because it is a reflection of the high levels of learning happening at Domingo Treviño Middle School.

I'd also like to take this moment to acknowledge Ms. Lozano's, former principal, dedication and vision that made this rating possible, I am truly grateful for the strong foundation she built.

As we move forward, my goal is to build upon this success and continue fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students. We have a parent event scheduled for November 12th in which I will share more information of our academic plans for this school year.

In the meantime, help us to congratulate all our students and staff for their drive to succeed and accomplishment in making it happen!!
