ACE Cardio Class for Parents beginning Thursday, September 28. Classes will be held at the Kika de La Garza Campus from 4:30-5:30.



On Friday, September 22, Gonzalez Elementary students enjoyed a water moon jump day for the First Six Weeks Good-Life celebration. The students' good behavior and attendance paid off with a "cool day."






Henry B. Gonzalez Students of the Month for August and September enjoyed lunch with the principal. Students of the month are chosen by their teachers for good classroom behavior. Congratulations to these boys and girls.

Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary parents are invited to a Parent Title 1 Meeting on Tuesday, September 26 at 5:30 PM. The meeting will take place at the Kika de La Garza cafeteria. The meeting will discuss topics of interest and will feature performances by Gonzalez Elementary Students.



Our ACE Little Ones read a non-fiction book on the invention of Bubble Gum and then enjoyed a friendly bubble gum challenge. The kiddos also enjoyed some outdoor physical activities with a delicious Bubble Gum snow cone!!!

📣⚠️Attention La Joya ISD Community:⚠️📣
La Joya – At approximately 3:30 PM on September 6, 2023, a La Joya Independent School District bus was involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of 4 Mile Line and Texan Road. Fortunately, there were no students on board at the time of the incident.
The bus was carrying three La Joya ISD employees who were on route to their respective destination. We are relieved to report that all three employees have been transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment, and we are pleased to confirm that they have sustained no major injuries.


September is Attendance Awareness Month. Every day counts and being present in the classroom sets the foundation for academic achievement and personal growth. When students show up, they have the chance to engage, learn, and build meaningful connections with teachers and peers.
