Welcome to Domingo Treviño Middle School. Our school earned a ‘B’ rating by the Texas Education Agency and has earned five distinctions:

Our goals at DTMS are to create an environment where all students can succeed, develop, maintain, and nurture relationships through respect, trust, and accountability. We aim to challenge students with a rigorous curriculum that will prepare them to be high school, college, and career-ready.

Our job is to teach students how to grow academically, to close learning gaps where they exist, and to help make students proud of who they are and what they can become. Our actions embody the spirit of teamwork, collegiality, and the belief that all students can learn. 

We are a staff that recognizes the challenges of contemporary society and we embraces the need to be innovative in order to meet the educational needs of our students. Domingo Treviño Middle School continues its tradition of success by providing opportunities for our students to engage in activities that develop problem-solving skills, promote critical thinking, and enhance technological and leadership skills in two languages.
