 A proud La Joya ISD graduate, Dr. Gutierrez returns with more than 20 years of educational leadership experience serving students, teachers, and school communities across Texas. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, principal, district coordinator, and human resources director, bringing extensive experience in instructional leadership, talent development, and school improvement.

 Dr. Gutierrez holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University and is recognized for her commitment to strengthening campus culture, supporting educators, and helping students succeed. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, high expectations, and a belief that every student deserves access to high-quality learning opportunities.

 As she returns to the district that helped shape her educational journey, we look forward to the positive impact she will make in supporting our students, staff, and families.
